Since its inception in 1977, Harrington & Associates has built a reputation for innovative designs, financial stability, and craftsmanship. This reputation is reinforced by job-site safety and cleanliness, customer satisfaction on the “walk-through” inspection, and service before and after the sale. In addition, all Harrington plan designs are reviewed and sealed by a structural engineer. The company also recognizes the importance of its management team. In order to maintain this reputation, senior staff members are licensed contractors and all staff members attend educational classes on a regular basis.

W. E. “Gene” Harrington, President of Harrington & Associates, complements his knowledge of home building with a full understanding of financing and efficient business methods. Gene, an unlimited license contractor, is also a senior residential appraiser (SRA-retired), and a licensed real estate broker. In 1982, Gene served as president of the Charlotte Home Builders Association and in the same year, his peers honored him as “Builder of the Year.”
